1. Check for the parameter log_archive_dest_n using

   show parameter log_archvie

   verify the destination are set.

2. Ensure there are physical space available for the archive logs to be created.

Installing GCC Compiler on Solaris 10.

1. Go to sunfreeware.com and downloaded gcc-3.3.2 and libiconv packages for SPARC/Solaris X.
2. After downloading, navigated to the directory and gunzipped them

   gunzip gcc-3.3.2-sol10-sparc-local.gz
   gunzip libiconv-1.9.2-sol10-sparc-local.gz

3. After that installed the libiconv package first, since that is a requirement.

   pkgadd -d libiconv-1.9.2-sol10-sparc-local

4. Then installed gcc

   pkgadd -d gcc-3.3.2-sol10-sparc-local

Trinity Blood

The background is in the distant future after the destruction brought about by Armageddon. The war between the vampires and the humans continue to persist. In order to protect the humans from the vampires, Vatican has to rely on other allies to counter the situation. The protagonist, a priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans. However, he is also part of “Ax”, a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle and survival between the human race and the vampires.

Detective Academy Q

Dan Detective School is the japanese detective school that got allowed and permission by the government. Kyu is an ordinary boy with big dreams to became detective, he attend to the school and became a member of Q Class along with Megu the girl with Photograph Memory, Kazuma the IT freak kid,Kinta the strong, and the mysterious Ryu. together they solved many case who bring them to face Pluto, the crime organization that should had been destroyed by Dan Morihiko.

Nice detective anime with intriguing methods of murder and plot.

Fate Stay Night

The war for the holy grail is on. Seven masters, each with a special servant is chosen to fight for the holy grail with the victor able to have his wish granted.

Emiyo Shiro is a master with the strongest servant, saber with naive ideals but learns as he progresses into the war.

Great story plot, great graphics. Not mentioning the cute and cool saber.

Welcome to the NHK

This anime is about the story about Tatsuhiro Satō, a 22 year old college dropout, hikikomori ( a person who don’t work, stays at home and just waste his life away), believes that what happening to him is a big conspiracy and Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who choose Sato to be her “project” and cure him of his hikkomori lifestyle.

Started off quite slow but the strange relationship between the two characters grown into a special fondness for one another. Story developed into a heart-wenching ending when the reason of Misaki’s project come to light with her sad background. However, all ends well although abit abrupt.

Will love to see a sequel to the anime. Definitely one of my favorite animes to date.

Gunslinger Girls

The very first anime that has brought me into the world of japanese anime every since 2 years ago.

Story about a group of young girls trained to be assasins by the public welfare organisation. Sad but very enticing.

Just My Luck

ice date show. Funny show about a girl with very good luck, eg, raining stopping when she steps out, picking up 100 dollar bills and green traffic lights when she in traffic, you can imagine and a very unlucky guy. They meet up in a party and they kissed switching the luck. Finally, they fell in love and well, funny or "unlucky" happenings are quite entertaining.

The ending quite touching I felt. Overall, a good movie to go with a girlfriend, funny and relaxing.
